Who this covers
Flux89 makes flux89.com (the free tuning tools for Gran Turismo 7), GT Nation (gtnation.gg) and Co-Driver (codriver.gg, the Co-Driver app and its Discord bot). This one policy covers all of them. We collect minimal data to keep them running and improve them over time.
Cookies and analytics
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use the site: things like which pages are visited and how users navigate the tuning assistant. This helps us prioritise improvements.
GA4 sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors. These cookies expire after 2 years. You can decline these cookies and still use the full site. No features are gated behind cookie acceptance.
We also use Google reCAPTCHA v3 on forms (feedback, donations) to prevent spam. reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies to verify that you are a real user.
Local storage
Your saved tunes and preferences on flux89.com are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device, and we don't have access to it.
Accounts
Where a Flux89 site or app offers sign-in, we use Discord to verify who you are. We only read your Discord username and avatar, never your messages.
Co-Driver's Discord bot
When you ask the Co-Driver bot to join a voice channel, we handle the server ID and the voice channel ID you choose, for the duration of that session and no longer. No voice audio is recorded, stored or sent to our servers.
Payments
Donations and paid plans are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information.
Your choices
- Accept or decline cookies: use the banner when you first visit. You can clear your choice by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
- Opt out of GA4: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
